Okay....Silly question time!
Of all the Indy cars that has ever been. which would you like to see in kit form to build?
Besides the 1961 Bowes Seal Fast Special Winner, which you cam mow build from DrDave's Conversion parts...
I'd like to see the 1982 Wildcat that Johncock drove.
Best to all of you
Russ

1984 March and 1991 Penske ;D I know the 1984 could give the decal guys tons of things to work on....
Other than that.... I would like to see any 2001+ Dallara plus other Indy winners!

Ok, besides the Wildcat, Penske, and Marches (81-84). I would like to see the winners from the "junk formula" era of the 1930's.

New here and if they are available, please let me know. I would love a 66-67 Eagle and 98-99 Dallara. Craig

How about Graham Hill's 66 Lola, there's a big hole in the 60's winner line-up.

How about a Brabham kit? It could be made into the Brawner Hawk, some of Ruby's rides as well as several other cars. The Brabham was the basis for several copy cars in the 60's.

Jordan ++1 I'm all for that. Maybe add in the Penskes from 1980-81 just so we'd have something to put the new decals on from Indycals for Bobby Unser's winner.

Wow! That's a hard question, pinning it down to one car. I agree I'd like to see many of the cars already mentioned. 66,69 Lola would be nice and so would an 82 Wildcat, I would also cast a vote for the 67 Eagle along with the 69-71 Eagles. The 83 and 84 Marches are good choices too. The Penske's from 80 to 92 need to be covered better and my personal choice would be a Penske PC10 or PC-11 and if someone could throw in a nice 77 McLaren conversion that would be the icing on the cake for me!

I've seen photos of one in the works. I guess I'll just be patient and see what happens.

Sandy...
There is a really talented builder in Indianapolis named Mike Hylton who did a model of that car from an old Lancer Slot Car body of the rear engine Watson. I only saw a snap shot of it once and it was beautiful! Now, try to find a Lancer Slot Car body?....I have tried for three years. I spoke to Rodger about that car...Ward felt it was a much better car than he drove it to be...it finished second that year and he felt it should have won! A pretty car and I have Bob Clidinst's drawing for it.
Best to you

I'd like to see any of the Mickey Thompson cars - 1962 - 1967, with slight preference to 1963 or 62. Rick

Hi Russ, Lancer slot car bodies...now that's a name from the past. I use to pay 98 cents for them at the local slot car track. Seems like they had a huge selection of bodies also. Was Ward's '64 run in this car hampered by some 'nickel & dime' fuel problem? All the best, Sandy

My first pick would be Smokey's Hurst Sidecar, of course! I have the SMTS 1/43 kit but sure would love to see it in 1/25!

Yes Sandy...
According to Rodger...On Carberarion Day, before the race they were going over a few things in the car that would make it more comfortable and better during the race. Watson had out a fuel mixture dial down by the dash and it was rubbing against Ward's knee. Rodger didn't like it there and asked that it be mover. SO Watson moved in the cockpit over by his other leg, but the only way he could mount it was upside down, which made the control work opposite of what it had....so turning the knob left made the car run richer.....instead of the other way around. So when Rodger thought he was making the car run leaner....which was the sign he was getting from the pits....in reality, he was making it run richer, thus using far too much fuel.......And causing the numerous pit stops.
Bo9th A.J. Watson and Ward still think that car would have won the race if they knew what was going on....I believe my good friend Tom Malloy owns that car now.
Best to you
Russ

Howdy all! My choices would be - 1. 1972 Donohue McLaren - I have the resin conversion but would love to see a state of art plastic kit. 2. 1972/73/74/75 Eagle - Lots of options here! 3. Kurtis Kraft 500B/C/D/F - And the decals to go with them! 4. Mickey Thompson's roller skates - 62/63/64. 5. 1966/67 Eagles I don't know if you mean in resin or plastic. Either would be fine! Tim

Easy Answer: ANY AND ALL!!!!!! To narrow the focus, 1995 Reynards, anything with a Buick or Menard engine (I know, I'm sick lol) and any current IRL car.
