Hello Guys,
I'm looking around modeling forums for weeks, and decided to register here because of the quality of the builts i've seen here. i'm 40 years old, huge fan of motoring sports. I've grown up around some famous european tracks (hockenheim, jerez, silverstone, nurburgring, zolder ect ect) following my dad on his race week ends (superkarts 250cc).
I've been a Radio controlled model racing driver for years and moved to endgame pc racing simulation like Iracing or Assetto Corsa. Since i was a young boy, i've seen my dads models and now i d like to build my own one.

Welcome to the forum, there is some great builders and people that are quick to help and a deep knowledge base. What RC racing do you do on road or off road.

Thanks guys. pntmachine : I'm not racing anymore with my RC models, but i've raced 1/12 1/10 and 1/8 scaled models, nitro and electric powered,on roads and off roads. I've been a middle class driver (meaning i was very good only sometimes ^^)who had some pretty good sucess from time to time in french championships and european or worldcups during the 90's, racing for Tamiya french distributor and then Kyosho french distributor.

I'm very pleased to welcome a Continental modeller to our group. You'll have some insight we Nor-Americans might not have and I look forward to sharing with you.

Welcome to the forum.
I went through my RC faze in the 80's, thank God I outgrew it fast... it was getting REAL expensive!

Yes, you're right, i stopped because of that, lost sponsorship and lost the job i had in a french magazine that became so expensive to continue fighting with the big guys.
