Hi, I'm Terry Jessee (sometimes just "Terr"). I've been around the hobby 40+ years. I started writing in 1982 and have published more than 300 stories. I've also written a few books. Here are photos of the last couple.



Hot Rod Model Kits was published by Motorbooks, International (now MBI Publishing) in 1999. It's a history of the plastic model car kit hobby and the companies told from the "hot rod" perspective. Probably my favorite project.



"Build & Detail (when I figure out who the "pro" is, I'll let you know) was published by MBI in 2001. It's a project book and runs the gamut from snap kits to an Etzel resin Kurtis Midget.

I've gotten interested in Indy cars after I finally got my hands on an Etzel Watson. So we'll see....

Terry~ I'm a new guy here, too. I'm certainly familiar with your articles and models. Love the Frank Lockhart Stutz- Blackhawk replica in your model site. With your experience and skill, you could build any of the great Watson cars of the 60's. Do you have a favorite in mind? Welcome and I look forward to reading your posts
