II received this Ampersand 1/43 kit from Bo at this year Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale. I was really grateful to receive it because I never was able to purchase one when they were available and it’s the only 86C I have. It didn't have decals so it gave me a chance to use some of Michael's. They were really great and sized perfect for this kit (Thanks Michael). The only thing I did was put Tameo wheels on it not that anything was wrong with the kit wheel I just got lazy since these wheels were already plated so it saved me some steps. I added seat belt buckles and re- sized the rear wing end plates. For some reason I could only post one photo. If anyone wants to see any more view let me know I can post them later.

Very nice. I have some older Ampersand kits that I will be doing and can't wait. Some of the decals are looking very questionable but hope I can sun clear them. Beautiful job on this and would love to see more photos as well.

IndyCals has had a few Ampersand kit to size decals to so he might be able to help you out if the kit decals are too old.

The build is very well done, I like 1/43 and think you do a great job with these cars. 1986 was the first time I made it to Indy, if not for raining all the first weekend, it would have been the year that I first saw an Indy 500.

Beautiful job on this and would love to see more photos as well. Kevin Kevin: I still have decals for most of the kits I did, so please let me know if you need any. I have found that leaving the decals out in the sun does remove most of the yellowing, but I'll have to admit that some of the decals still have a yellow tint even after sitting in the sun for a few days. But if you - or anybody else on the board - need decals, just pm me. The only ones I'm missing are the Beatrice and Domino's decals for the 85 Lolas. Bo

Looking at the photos its hard to tell its 'small' scale. Thats a sure sign of a well built 1/43 model. Really great work.
