Tyrrell 006 by AMD Models

Thought you were going to see a photo of the finished model, wrong! I bought this kit in 1/20 several years back on evilbay, It has been very disappointing from the very start. The Engine was cast in metal (from Tamiya parts) and the fit sucked, I ended up using a motor from a Tamiya kit. The rear wing supports were useless and I discarded them for some I scratch built. I tried to apply the decals today and they are worthless! Anyone know of some after market decals for this car?

It may be a longshot, but you could check with Mac's Modeling to ask if he has any spare deal sheets for the ACE Tyrrell 006 kit he still has available.

I bought this kit from Mac a couple years ago. The resin castings need some smoothing (typical of many MM kits I have seen) so I have it in my stash for that hopeful day when I feel my skills are up to the challenge. But the decals look decent, so it may be worth asking him if he might be able to help you get a decal sheet for it. Mac is a great guy to deal with, and he replied within a day or two to an email question I sent him in the past.

Maybe Michael could doctor up his '71 Tyrrell set to do the majority of this car. Worth asking!
