This is a Michael Andretti T-8900 Lola I built for AMT/Ertl in 1990. Initially, it was supposed to be built for box art photographs but they used photos of the actual car instead. So this became part of their trade show display. Sorry--don't have photos of it with the engine cowl installed. Went together pretty well, if I remember correctly, but the decals were difficult. I wound up using two sets to get the stripes in place. Terry

That is a great looking model! I really like the '89 scheme so much more than the '88!

I like the old AMT Indy cars, they built into quite nice neat cars.
