I love this car as well as all the orange Mclarens. I've thought of building this one but I've heard about the tires. What would you substitute the kit tires with? You've done a beautiful job on this car, it's got me thinking about watching for a reasonably priced kit.

Excellent as always Niels. Love the Heller car lots and will buy more if I can because they are great period car subjects. Pootish on 1/20 scale! Oops, I think I just blasphemed.

Outstanding work, really like all the detailing. Darn it, there were some good looking race cars in that era!

Sooo beautiful!!! i love those McLaren. Just found one at a contest meet for a reasonible price. Now I've built the Brabham from the same Producer, the car looks good box stock but those tires are awful...if you have an idea to locate some replacement, I'd be glad to know where to find it.
Congrats, like you say these cars will indefinitely look good...
