I have gotten many requests over the years to do decals for Bobby Rahal's 1993 Lola and I have always declined due to the fact that I cannot print a yellow to my satisfaction to do that car, which, IMO is approximately the same color as Tamiya TS47 Chrome Yellow. With my printer I can't even match the lighter TS16.
But since I am silk-screening decals for the Lotus 29 to match TS16, I have the opportunity to do the yellow markings for the Rahal car at the same time. It won't be a match for TS47, but it will at least match a known paint color that is better than I can hit with my printer. Due to space limitations I will only do the markings in 1/20 scale to use with the Tamiya Lola kit.
So what are your thoughts - if you want to do this car would you buy decals that match TS16 or should I just scrap it and move on to something else?

If everyone else wants it I'd build one.

count me in for a set also, a set of these decals would looks awesome on a '93 Tamiya Lola in Road Course trim, or in super speedway trim as run at Michigan, the difference in yellow would not bother me in the slightest.

The opportunity to build this car far overshadows any color inaccuracies in my opinion.

Slightly off topic, but how about the Bobby Rahal '84 7-Eleven livery??? Just thinking out loud.
I would be a player for the MGD in road course trim if available for 1/64th.

Its a ton of money to get these yellow decals done and doing any scale besides the most popular for this car which is 1/20 would not pay off for Michael.....and its still questionable if the 1/20 scale decals would do good for this MGD car?

The MGD car was not originally part of this project - I had just enough room to add a 1/20 version. As Calvin said it is VERY expensive having this project done but it needs to be done.

To answer the original question... I would have no problem with TS-16 yellow for the decals and I would buy the sheet. Rusty

This sounds interesting, will you include the TLO Gold sticker for Toronto?

Actually this one isn't going to happen at this time. Didn't have enough room for it
