That was a hard time to be at Rahal. Always wondered what Groff could have done. Nice looking build, can't wait to see the speedway twin.

Great car! Mike is a really great guy and just had some bad cars and luck. Does anyone else remember the sound of the Honda in 94? it even sounded slow!

I was thinking your SW build would be a Lola from Michigan or something but I like the Indy 500 Penske Ilmor!! Nice looking build, Ralph, your client will be very happy I'm sure.
Story goes Rahal pleaded with Honda to drop the cast iron block for an aluminum one all during development and '94. Honda after success with CI blocks in F1 was stubborn to change. Rahal signed a deal with Mercedes Ilmor for '95 only to find out soon after that Honda was developing an aluminum block for 1995.

Jordan Yes there was also a Lola but he wanted the Ilmor Penske chassis. He supplied the donor so ok with me, paint is paint yes? I actually like both but the Lola would have caused me to make SW wings. |

The 95 Rahal RC donor didn't have side skirts on the wheel flips so I had to add them.
