Hi I am Justin and have been hovering around this forum for a while (a long while). I have collected mostly F1 or Indycars but have a few sportscars mixed in. If any of you guys have done sim racing with rFactor in an Indycar series (MNRL, Simcar, SCART are series I have been in) as well as VOR, then yea I am that Justin Lee. I am pretty new to the building (have destroyed a few cars trying to get started, 4 Action Lolas, 2 Action Swifts) but hopefully I can get something done at some point that is respectable. I will be attempting one or two DW12s hopefully in the coming months.

Justin Lee?? I know a Justin Lee (clickable thumbnail) Okay, maybe not the best memory of our time at MNRL but hey man it is great to see you here! There are actually a few MNRL guys around here and even more sim racers. We have a great group of builders here and the 1/18 guys do great work (see Stu's Acorn build from today for example). Jump right in here and post away, you'll fit in just fine. Lots of guys will chime in to help you through difficulty in a build and encourage you along the way. Jordan #19

AH, another slice of our world joins our group. Welcome and I hope you share some of your experiences, too.

Whoa it's Mr. Admin Jordan, thanks for bringing up that great...um, experience? Nice to know there's some people from that side of racing at this place as well. I think it is all the conversions that I have seen here that I find interesting to see. Always really good quality stuff just like that Jakes car.

I still say that 500 was a farce with the midrace restart and all. I remember being wrecked out of the last lap on the qualifier which dropped me from driving Zanardi's Honda to Jourdain's Ford. Then in the race, the winner passed me via a bodyslam in T1 on his way to the front. He had the same RFF package so I obviously didn't have the setup that day but I never really learned how to make a great fast setup so I always gravitated to fixed series like MNRL ran. I have some other pics of ChampCar mods from MIRL in my Photobucket but of course, they are mostly to do with me Wasn't sure you wanted to see them so I didn't post those, just the one that had you in it. Except for a random screen grab of practice which shows you 6th and me 11th at Phoenix in '06 Lolas but that didn't seem like a good choice LOL I think you'll like the board. We have all types here. Guys that build all different scales and media (plastic/resin/diecast) so just jump right in where ever you want and you'll find like minded people. Jordan

The last series logo of MIRL The only picture I have of the 06s...I think that was a 0.0002 second finish? I was the first loser in that race.

I only remember having bad nights at the Brickyard in 06s. I want to say I was getting caught up over and over again in other ppls messes. With my old PC in storage right now my Photobucket is all I have right now for MIRL pic and most of my MIRL pics are of the '06 - old team signature banner when Sam Allison was my teammate, burnout after my Spa win (had to get my celebration in before my gas ran out LOL), a huge sideways slide in front of Sam from a MIRL Long Beach race, car on the in game turntable, and a few others. Have only one pic of my MIRL car from the '95 and '98 mods. No pics from any of the other ones...
Still consider my two MIRL wins as some of my favorite online wins. Would love to recreate those winners one day and have the diecasts donors to do it.
