Here is my restored 1/25 scale 1974 McLaren - the entire drivetrain - engine, gearbox, rear suspension, exhaust, turbo, intakes, rear wing and rear wing support, and fuel buckeyes are all 3d printed, as is the rear bulkhead behind the seat. The tub, tires and front suspension are from the AMT kit, the radiator shrouds are also from the kit, but modified so tha that the radiators sit inside them, not tacked on the back, and the nose and cockpit/engine cover are by Bill Jorgensen link to 3d drivetrain

Absolutely Awesome!!!!!!! We cant thank you enough for taking the time and work to make accurate parts for these kits!!!! I cant wait to save my monopoly money to buy some more from you! I use to have a shortage of 70's AMT Offys, now they are in a big pile in one of my modeling boxes! LOL!
I cant wait to start on my 1974 Winner now! Darn it! I got too much modeling stuff going on!

Since its on my mind I guess I'll bring it up..... The one thing that always bugs me to death about the 1974, 75, and 76 Mclaren's is the noses on the JR's car all three years! They all have slight and I mean very slight differences, enough difference that it bothers my eyes! IMO the 1976 nose has more a rounded tip and a over all more rounded look than the 1974 nose. and... The 1975 nose doesn't have a rounded lip on the side top edge like the 74 and 76 nose.

I'm not so sure that you're not just seeing differences from angle/lighting/color.

I'm not so sure that you're not just seeing differences from angle/lighting/color. Maybe the different wing angles on the 74 and 76 are throwing me eyes off?

Great job in showing off the 3D printing. The detail painting really shows off the great amount of work you put into getting the pieces to look and fit right. It is a good looking build - is it done or are you still working on it?

Calvin, I think you've smelled too many glue vapors! LOL!! But I do like the nose views that show the color of the shocks, the aluminum lip all the way around the nose bottom, and the telemetry & radio whisker of the 74 car. Just jokin' about the fumes!

I do seem to see a very small change from the 74 car to the others. Look at the upper suspension arms, the nose is slightly wider on the 74, plus the 4 body mounts vs 2 the other cars. Of course what I'm seeing might be just old eyes. Either way, the difference is very slight if at all/ Take Care Craig
