Wow - now this is a nice surprise to wake up to in the morning! Great looking builds - that paint looks awesome. Did you remove the centerline wicker? I can't see it so I wondering. Really nice detail work - the side by side makes it easier to pick out the differences in endplates, exhaust exits, antenna, camera, etc. Great tributes to Dan's memory.

Yes! Very impressive! The attention to detail is fantastic! Looks like those 1/25 2005 Indycals fit GREAT on the 1/24 Dallara.

I finally figure out how to post photos so you'll see a ton more from me. The center wicker is there it's just a little hard to see cause the nose is all decal and clear coat. I'll be doing the '09 and '10 winner next if anyone is interested in a "how to". Thanks, Mike

The decals were great and I know Mike did them for Bill's Dallara so the they took a lot of finesse for the Hot Wheels body lines. If he ever revisits the 2005 to size them to the Hot Wheels I will buy them again. I did the red and white just like he suggested and that worked great. The cockpit area I brushed on Testors flat white lacquer and blended it into the decal. I actually then painted the white onto the whole Jim Beam decal area so it all matched as well. It's a technique I did on a stock car model once cause I couldn't get the paint to match the decals so I figured, paint the decal then. After the clear, you cannot see any of the brush strokes but you have to put it down in very thin layers. I also did it in some areas with the red, black, and even the gold outline that separates them or where the decals were too short to meet up. Fortunately I am doing some easier paint schemes next until I get to the '07 winner. Thanks, Mike
