I shudder to think of how many dollars are represented here. Ha ha, I think the same thing when I look at my model and slot car collections! Brian

Honda Indy 300, in 1999 & 2000 at Surfers Parardise on the Goldcoast in Australia. Met several of the drivers, and got their autographs. There was a swarm around Michael Andretti, and his PR person was shooing ppl away from getting too close. Mark Blundell was the only driver that really wanted to chat with me, I met PT, Dario, Gugelmin, Tagliani and Carpentier also. The '99 Surfers race was the 2nd to last race for Greg Moore Also attended the 2010 Australian F1GP, which was also fantastic.

It would be too much work to remember the years now. I can remember tracks though.
IMS (a lot) Walt Disney World (1996) Atlanta (2000? whatever year was the same as the cancelled CART Texas race) Nashville (a few) MIS (a few) Vegas (1999, 2011) Fontana (2014-2015) Chicagoland (every IndyCar race) Kentucky (every IndyCar race) Milwaukee (many) Gateway (a few) Iowa (2007, 2014-2016) Pocono (2014-2016) Texas (many) Phoenix (2016) Barber (all but 3 but don't remember which years) St. Pete (2013-2014, 2016) Long Beach (2014, 2016) Toronto (2014-2015) Detroit (2014-2016) Sonoma (2014-2016) Houston (2014, we won race #1!) Mid-Ohio (many) Cleveland (2001 I think, it was the year Gidley drove for Ganassi)
Adding Road America and Boston this year.

Starting going to practice at IMS in 1967. Saw everyday of practice from 1972 until 1976. Then my parents moved..... and I could only go a couple of times a month. Poleday, Bumpday too many times to count.
Actually went to "500" starting in 1977.... (long story, have been to every race since 1986, until the IRL came)
Lived at 4818 McCray for 18 years (1992 - moved April 2010) So dealt with "fans" of Tony's wet dream. Went to Juan Montoya rookie Indy win and have to admit one of the best days I ever had at IMS, watching pro teams kick those wankers to the curb.
Been to over 80 USAC/CART/Champcar races, including the first Cleveland GP. Been to Mid Ohio, Michigan, Elkhart Lake, Milwaukee, Texas, Saint Louis, Chicago, Detroit, Fontana, Laguna Seca, Homestead.
I support USAC so have seen countless Silver Crown, Sprint and Midget events run under their sanction, beginning in 1967.
I have been to the 12 hours of Sebring five times
I have been to the 24 hours of Le Mans in 2009.
Went to every USGP held at IMS, Went to Circuit of the America's in 2015 for the USGP.
I can't count how many Sprint car races I have been to run by clubs at Putnumville, Lawerenceburg, Paragon, Kokomo, Terre Haute, Haubstadt, Gas City, Brownstown, Boswell, Columbus, Eldora, Belleville etc.
I ran AMA flat track bikes in 1978 and 1979
I ran WKA Go Karts in 1980
I wrenched SCCA Formula V qualifying (our car) for the run offs at Road Atlanta in 1980.
Worked on USAC Regional and National Midgets, along with a few gigs with USAC National Sprint Car
Went to Winston "500" in 1984 at Talladega. I can't remember how many ARCA races I have been to see. (a bunch) I saw Darrell Waltrip run before he was anybody at IRP in 1974 or so.....
I have enough ticket stubs to plaster a hallway.
When do we start the concert list? :-)

My most memorable race was the inaugural USA 500 when CART and IRL split. It was at Michigan International Speedway. The CART guys were all bashing the Indy 500 drivers saying that due to the split, the majority of the drivers were rookies and the race would be sloppy. Turns out it was the CART guys who wrecked on the warm-up lap and took out 12 cars!

I'm not going to try years. I just know: Indy - every year except 1984 since 1980. Indy GP - that counts right? MIS - many times Detroit - Downtown and Belle Isle multiple times each St. Pete Homestead (only once) Toronto (last year)

Shoot, I missed/forgot Long Beach! We used to watch "The Masters" highlights from the bar after practice on Fridays and Saturdays.

I first went to Indy in 1989, carb day, watched the race from home. the experience is one I will never forget. My brother and our wifes where sitting on the inside just down from turn 2. We heard the cars starting in the pits and start to warm up going about 100 mph around the track in front of us. Then I heard a car up to speed and going 215 or better, so fast that you couldn't focus on it for a moment. It was Emmo! I WAS HOOKED! After that I have worked many races as a volunteer with the Detroit Grand Prix, on track services, Kitty Litter one, my call sign as the one in charge of the pits, Cleveland, Road America, St. Petersburg (Trans-Am), Long Beach, Michigan, Milwaukee, Toronto, Grand Rapids Mi. (Trans-Am), Detroit in the F1 days, early 80's till 89 when Indy car took over and a couple of the Chicago historics.(Road America). I also did a weekend on the CART safety teem in 1999 at Detroit and attended a couple of Indycar banquets. Oh, one day in the spring, before the track was open for May Bob Clidinst, Bill Jorgensen and I were at Indy and Mario was doing some tire testing. The sound every time he crossed the yard of bricks was like a shot gun blast in that empty place. About 20+ years of going to races.

The OTS palm tree on the K-rail was our logo, on track services with the palm signifying our move to the "island" from downtown. Wally Dallenbach liked it but told us to cover it, It was right in the main camera shot. (Like we intended)

What a question!! I started going to Langhorne and Trenton in the mid 60s. Pocono when they started up and again the last few years. Mid-Ohio in the mid-80's. Most Indy 500 races since '84. Dover in 103degree heat. Mickey Mouse Race in Orlando a couple times, and a couple Watkins Glenn races. Also saw F1 there 65-'78.
