Hi I'm Mike from Illinois. I'm a huge car lover. While growing up, my father had a '31, L-29 Auburn-Cord-Duesenburg, a '36 Cord 810 and a '55 300sl Gullwing. Because of this, cars are a big passion of mine, as yours. I've built more model cars than I can count and read just about every AutoWeek from 1980 thru 1987 while growing up. Anyway... 15 years ago, I founded a 3D Printing service bureau (yeah, 3D printing has been in the news a lot these days), even though it seems new, it's actually been around for about 25 years. I cannot show models of parts we build for our customers at trade shows, because of Non-Disclosure-Agreements, so we are forced to be creative.... A few years ago we built a 1/4 scale (open wheeled) Model T Hot Rod to show off our skills... It is 100% 3D Printed!!!... But now we are working on a new model that I think you guys will really like... The best part is, it will probably be finished in about 3 weeks. When I came across this site, it was while researching a certain open wheel racer... I will share some cool photos with you guys, I guarantee you will like em! Attachments:

Fascinating work, Mike. The finish on the 1/4 car is unbelievable. Nice to have you here and looking forward to the announcement.

Sorry for taking so long to update.... Memorial Day Weekend took its toll LOL.... I'm going to shift this to the build section and put a link up in a few minutes.
