This is a Tameo 1/43 Valvoline Lola T89. or at least it will be hopefully. My motivation it to try and finish it by the end of the month sort of a Indy theme build. UPDATE: This didn't turn out to be the Valvoline car because once I color matched the Tameo decal with the blue they listed as the match (TS55) it looked way to dark. So my next option was to make it the Kmart version since it was the same kit. This explains why I didn't make my May completion date, [img src=" i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag32/mark_anderson4/IMG_1422_zpsd4580507.jpg"] [img src="" src="http://i1297.photobucket.com/albums/ag32/mark_anderson4/IMG_1497_zpsa602708e.jpg" style="max-width:100%;"]

Acmiaz,
This looks like a real nice kit to start with. Do you know what sponsorship you will be using?
I'll be watching this...

Very nice work as well as your other 1/43rds I looked thru. It'll be fun to watch. Do you CA your brass plates or epoxy resin them? I am working on a SMTS Gurney Eagle that the decals have been on my dashboard sun baking for 3 weeks to get them clear again so hoping to move forward. Can't wait to see this transpire.

Kevin Kevin, Thanks! I use CA for all of the brass. I know what you mean about trying to get SMTS decals to turn clear again. I plan on replacing all of my yellowed decals with Indycals.

The car looks sharp sitting there with the P/E. I am struck by the radiator openings - what a well engineered kit!
Can't wait to see you building one up. Will be watching this one progress.

Flawless work. I have one of these along with a penske to make a 1989 diorama of Little Al and Emmo. Now I really want to start working on them. Thanks for the motivation!
