With Michael's Buick engine, an Indy Lights car could be made. I'm considering using a Hasegawa F3000 chassis with the Buick. Any suggestions for kit, year, or tires?

It looks like the Hasegawa Lola T90-50 F3000 car is the way to go.

Very interesting idea. I got my first sample of the V6 from Lance and it looks awesome.

Possible, but it depends on how scale accurate you may wish to be? Not sure which block Michael based his kit engine on. I am assuming he scaled to 1/25? There were however two different blocks in 1:1 scale. Indy lights and the original turbo used a "stock" stage II block with the block height of a large displacement V6. In 1988, references indicate that block height was reduced. I believe the hasegawa kits are 1/24 scale which might make the Monogram Mack tools kit engine(if available) a better choice? I know the car kit was not great, but the engine was pretty good from a detail perspective. Being an earlier replication of The Buick v6 it might be considered to have the higher block height? These points may not be significant, but thought they might be interesting. Regardless, Mike's new v6 is a great addition to a growing list of Indy aftermarket parts! Cheers

I have the Jordan Reynard (It's a Jean Alesi car: I can't use that!), but the engine cover is too high. The Lola T-90 is a bit better. I do have the Mac Tools Buick engine that isn't being used (remember, I'm still working on the Ferrari Indy car!...really I am!!). Thanks "smbrm" for the excellent info. I know that a "Kools" car could be done thanks to Michael's decals. Not sure what else I can do as of yet.
Well, back to the Indy Ferrari. I have the slope on the nose nailed finally! More on that soon.
