Well, less than at least SOME MFH kits. $230 seems like a lot of money to me - still, it would look great next to my Ertel '69 Brawner Hawk. But... $230 is half my car payment, 1/4 of my rent, a full race weekend at Fontana. But... I really want one! MJ

Yeah, but how long until they deliver??? Has anyone actually gotten their hands on the Marmon Wasp? that was supposed to be out last year.
Sorry this is a pet peeve for me. I will believe when I can actually buy it.

Replicarz redid a lot on the Marmon Wasp from their first prototype and that caused a lot of the delays. The wasp, STP Eagles and the Texaco and STP Marches are on 'on the boat' and are supposed to be available in July.
The turbine is still a ways off - don't expect anything this year.

Michael is correct. Originally the Marmon did not have an engine. It was curbside and I think (don't quote me) the numbers may have been the wrong font?
Yes, we have had to wait longer but like my wife says. "Go big or go home!" From what I hear from an inside source, it will be worth the wait. I credit Replicarz for doing the right thing to make the car as true to the real thing as possible.

Kudo's on that. I do not mind the wait and I do not mind the price if when I get a product it is correct and great detail. The Wasp is coming and if you do not get one now you will be paying a lot more for it later. Replicarz did a great job with the first two Indy car molds from Carousel 1. I am still waiting patiently for the others. It will be well worth the wait. At least we have someone continuing on the project that was started.

I agree that the wasp is looking much better from what I see, with the proper rear end and an engine [Such as it is]. I gave up on my plans for a 1/18 wasp when I heard that replicarz was releasing one back in 2011, and now that I am working up my plans for the turbine they announce that one too. So.... What other cars are you guys looking for and I will start planning them so the big guys can catch the vibe. I haven't decided on a scale for the turbine yet so maybe I will do 1/12 or 1/8 instead, and definitely start saving my money for the Replicarz version.

I would like to see some of the older Indy winners 20's 30's and 40's. Also I would love to see the 1966 Grahm Hill winner and I thought Carousel messed up on doing the 67 Unser. Why did they not do his Indy winner of 68? Which ever ones they do I am pleased with the results.

And, that may be one reason Carouesl is not around any more. Along with the 20s Millers a Frontenac would be cool to, not to mention the Blue Crown Special. Well keep our fingers crossed. I have drawings in various stages os completion for the #40, frame sheet metal, turbine, and here is my rendition of the wheel.
