I'm not very excited about this coming season

I'm not very excited about this upcoming season. I think it's partly because Randy is not out there creating hype for the season. It's sad to see Rubens gone but it will good to see AJ back in open wheel. So, on net, it's probably a slight positive to have a racing American rather than an aging F1 star. It looks like the car count may be down a bit. I forgot, we do have Pocono to look forward to. That could be very interesting.

It will be interesting to see what happens in Texas. There is so much racing now in Texas with Indycars at TMS and in Houston which will be competing against all the races now in Austin at COTA.

I have had my fill of races at TMS so I thought about heading to Houston for the street race. That was until the announced the FIA World Endurance Championship in September on the same weekend as ALMS at COTA. I think am going to go to that instead.

I never get excited about the up coming indycar season........but some how I still pull it off and make it thru the year somehow?

Well, I guess last year there was more than the ordinary amount of excitement with the new chassis. That's hard to top. Also, this time last year there was still hope Lotus would be a viable engine. Now we are just down to 2 engines.

Looking forward to the season but not yet excited. Still disappointed about RB being fired but come the season opener and Indy - I'll be fired up, I'm sure!! It will be interesting to see how AJ does after his 7 year hiatus from open wheelers.

Is there a game plan for AJ yet? Is it full schedule?

Only heard partial so far. Maybe Barber test then running Long Beach and Indy. Anyone seen/heard otherwise?

I'm always excited for a new season! This year is going to be good! Bourdais in a Chevy for a full season and some testing finally...Power is always good hope he figures out the ovals and gets a championship! Rahal should be good Simon and Tristen...we're in for a fun ride this year

As for AJ he's planned to test again at Barber then run the race there and the 500 if they can get sponsors.
