Does anyone know if there are any photos floating around of this race. I hate to ask for photos so much but my stock is gone.

Good news, bad news. The good news is that IMS covered this race extensively and has a large photo archive. The bad news is that you must visit IMS to view and purchase the photos. I'm sure that is NOT what you wanted to hear but...

Online database? Is that something different from the Indycar Media page? I did notice that the IUPUI collection has some different 1996 images than the Media site, but still nothing regarding Vegas.
Any leads to a tape of the second half of the race?

While on the IUPUI site, I noticed that they have audio summaries of every 500. The earlier ones are just DD discussion, later ones are edited down radio highlights. All are downloadable with DownloadHelper  |

I am dying to know They (I.M.S.) are digitizing ALL of their photo archives and have thousands of the older I.R.L. photos from LAT, and the AP that they have acquired in recent years. I am going to Indy for a day to pick up some photos. I will check on this event for you. |
