Mine is on the way from HLJ. So, they had them, they obviously went through them.

I got my Rindt Gold Leaf version from Pacific Coast, very good service. They claim to be the only authorized US supplier.
Michael, any plans for fill-in decals for the 72E?

It puzzles me that they chose to do 1973 and not the championship car of 1972?

I thought that, too, but I think they are trying to do versions that have not been kitted before. I can't wait for their 49's to start showing up!

Oops... Ebbro spelled Peterson "Petarson" on both the instructions and the decals.

Anyone order from them before? Prices seem very competitive. First time ordering from Pacific Coast Models, I placed my order for this kit Friday Feb.1 evening. Their checkout page says actual shipping costs would be charged. Within minutes of placing the order, I received a PayPal invoice for the $59.95 cost of the kit. I immediately paid that invoice. On Tuesday I received another invoice for $10.37 for shipping, not bad since I had chosen First Class shipping. Although invoice didn't state it was for shipping, but that was obvious since the first invoice didn't include shipping cost. On Thursday I received an email from them that the package had been shipped, and stating estimated delivery 1 - 3 days. The package was delivered yesterday (Sat Feb 9th). In my opinion the price was as good as I've seen anywhere (HLJ currently listing it for $62.69), the shipping cost was reasonable, and received it 8 days later, which is good since I placed the order at the beginning of the weekend. As a nice bonus, they also sent an email announcing that they are now accepting pre-orders for Ebbro's upcoming Tyrrell 003 1971 Monaco GP (ETA Apr/May) and Lotus 49 1967 kits (ETA May/June), with Tyrrell 002 German GP also ETA May/June but no price listed yet, although I would expect it to be priced same as the other kits. Wonderful news to look forward to. BTW, I was shocked today to see one of our local hobby stores had 2 of this kit in stock at same $59.95 price. Amazing that they already have it, and at same price as PCM! Cameron

Just FYI for everybody, I expect to be selling the Ebbro F1 kits before the end of the month.
@cameron - the reason you see the same $59.95 price is that is the price dictated by Ebbro. You can sell it for more than that, but you can't sell for less than that - discounts of any kind are not permitted.

That's good news, Michael. I have ordered from PCM in the past and been happy with their service, but I'd rather buy from you. Will you be able to sell them at the $59.95 price? Will you do pre-orders or some sort of reservation for upcoming kits? Any plans to expand into other kit lines?

That's great news, Michael. I'd definitely rather buy from you, too.
Any info you are able to share with us about this would be welcome, so we'll know what to expect concerning when, how, prices, expected release dates, pre-orders, etc.

Michael, So... you will be a US distributer for Ebbro kits? Rusty Semantics. Technically there is one US distributor and they supply the dealers - I'll be an Ebbro dealer. I will sell them for the retail price set by Ebbro and I am setting up various shipping options (USPS, UPS, FedEX). Availability should be a day or two after they reach the distributor. I am going to see if I can do a pre-order system like Hobby Link Japan, where you submit your pre-order and I charge it to PayPal when ready (I've never done anything like that before). This is not a drop-ship deal, I will be handling physical inventory and shipping it myself.

To do the pre-order thing through PayPal I would need to upgrade my account - not quite ready to do that, but if kit sales go well, it will be motivation to do so.

Will your price be the same as PCM's?
If you could manage also manage to carry the Studio 27 photo-etch for them, that would be good as well.

Here's what I'm thinking for pre-orders. Since a pre-order will require that I add that kit to whatever shipment I was planning to order to begin with, I was thinking of setting it up so that you can pre-order a kit for a pre-payment of say $10 per kit. When the kits arrive, I can then invoice you for the balance due. How does that sound?
