I finally got around to taking a 'better' picture of my cat. I cant wait to do another one of these, because this one I did about 200 mph - I was in the middle of producing all these kits and time was not on my side so my example got rushed! hence - lots of mistakes, luckily Michael P. did a great job on his and made my kit look good. So here is my latest and most likely last pic you will see of Wildcat 001 (001 means first Wildcat model ever produced from Classic Racing Resins )

I'm still trying to figure out how to do a decent job of tinting my windshield. I haven't done anything with it yet, but the rest of the car is done.

Great job, Calvin, looks fantastic. I hope you soon feel well enough to return to producing these kits. I need another one!

Feel the fear and do it anyway! Besides if you do screw it up all you have to do is post a picture of your Wildcat and I'll send you a few free replacement windscreens! oooooOOHHH! ;D

I'm sure trying hard - the next reissue will be better as well and will NEVER* go out of production. It will always be available on my website with hopefully a Paypal easy checkout. (I'm working on that) *Well unless something strange happens again.

Very nice - now it just needs a 1/25 Penske sitting next to it LOL Hard to believe no one's done the '82 Penske (that I know of) in the 30+ years since then. To me, it was a very aesthetically pleasing car - looked fast with the pointy shape. Great work, Calvin. Stopped by your site and see you have some good plans for 2013 - can't wait to see it all. Let us know when the parts store and bargain bins go live. Jordan

John - Future floor wax mixed with black food coloring for the windscreen. Dip the windscreen in (Before you cut it to shape) and let the excess run off. Might have to do it a few times to get the tint you want. Let dry then cut.

Since then I started to used Tamiya smoke and believe it or not brush it on - you cant even tell that its brushed on!

Stu, where do I find black food coloring? I can find red, green, blue, and yellow no problem. Black, not so much. Thanks
