Display Case Lighting

Hello,
I was wondering if anybody can recommend lighting solutions for displaying models. I have few models in seperate acrylic display cases.. I have some cases that hold individual cars and a few that hold three cars at a time. Lighting is poor in the area i have them displayed, and without doing any major electrical work hooking
up flood lighting etc i wanted to know if there was anything i could rig up on top of the cases to shine down onto the models.

Currently i have them displayed in a stacked manner on top each other so the light will shine down threw the clear bases onto the others. I heard of flexible led lighting but not sure who sells. Googled it
few times but to no avail. Any help would be great.
