Started another one. I wanted to do this one because I've never seen anyone build one from the way more accurate AMT kit. The first thing I did was glue as much as possible. I was going to do a full engine detail build BUT........the engine cover was so out of wack that it just wasn't worth it, so its going to be boring curbside. I'm not to sure what green to use on this car?

Since Indycals has a sheet for this car, maybe Michael can say what paint is best match for the green?

I'm looking forward to watching this take shape. Is the machine that is Calvin going to ignore the 7 vs. 6 spoke wheels like 99% of us or?

Is the machine that is Calvin going to ignore the 7 vs. 6 spoke wheels like 99% of us or? YES! I'm going to ignore it because the machine is still too tired and still not feeling that well to worry about adding another spoke.

Since we have had some nice weather in the Great Northwest lately I've been taking advantage of it by painting! I used an old,old can of Tamiya Park Green with great results! Its so old I'm amazed it still had its propellant!

Another great looking job, Calvin. I did mine with the Monogram kit, and it is a little shaky. Good to know on the Park Green if I ever do another one. I used MCW paint on mine, and while it is a great match and wonderful stuff to airbrush, sometimes it's just easier to pull a rattle can off the shelf.
My problem with this car was getting that break between green and white masked off on the top. That curve was a bear to hit.
Are you going curbside, or does the machine have a little Porsche motor up his sleeve?

I built that one back in 1991. Wish there was a 1/18 scale version. This one looks terrific and makes me wish of Replicarz to make one with all the 'trimmings'

No, I'm currently too busy with my 1/25 DW12 scratch build. The Porsche is just a build that I'm doing on the side, off and on.
