This is a very rare IMRA 1/43 scale kit of Bobby Unsers 1975 Jorgenson Eagle. This kit used to be considered the "Holy Grail" of 1/43 scale collector kits in America. It was released in 1976 and came pre-painted. The guy that created the master went to work for Precision Miniatures. This model has a ton of detail and was very ahead of its time. [/img]

:0 drool !!! 1976 you say ? Looks like it was released recently. I just love the 'dead' weight feel of these metal 1/43 cars, and their size makes it so much easier to display

I think I've seen this one on eBay - is this one you are thinking of building soon?

Yea I plan on building it my only dilemma is if I want to repaint it or just go with the existing paint. It has a couple of small chips but other than that it looks OK.

I opened up this kit to take a look and found a newspaper page from the Motorspeed Weekly dated January 2, 1976. On the page was an order form from IMRA to purchase this kit for 19.95 plus 1.50 postage and handling. Unbelievable!!
