97 G-Force into 97 Dallara

Many years ago I made a mold of Bill's 97 G-Force. .. Now before anyone gets mad I never resold any of them. I made 3 copies and they were so bad the under trays were non exsistent because of air in the mold while casting. So I tossed them in a box an there thay sat for close to 10 years. Seeing Calvin doing a Tony Stewart 97 G-Force inspired me to get them out and try to make something with them. I figured since Calvin was making a G-Force out of a Dallara why couldn't I do the opposite. Started by grinding the remainder of the undertry away and them grinding the botoom of the body flat up to where the undertray would start to show. Made new undertrays from flat stock. The 3 cars will be Arie's 97 winner since I never did one for myself, Stewart's 97 G-Force and Lazier's 97 Dallara and that is where the conversion starts on that car. Removered the rear part of the side pods as the Dallara has a different shape. Made the rear tire air deflectors and atached to the body. Will post more pictures as I progress though the builds.

I remember in '97 that I never could tell the difference between the two cars on the track. Nice job on everyone picking up the details that make the different to make better models. Should be a great set once you are done.

Stu,

Feeling some better. Just started using wieghts at rehab and could barely pick up a one pound wieght while laying flat on my stomach. Still can not work on things for any long periods of time or sit and type on the compluter either as my arms and shoulders hurt pretty bad after a short time.

You sure did, even just bought the same pactra paint colors...had to have my son take me to the hobby shop as I still am not able to drive yet.
