Hi Guys,
I used to solely build 1/12th Formula 1 cars and my top customer I built for lived in Austrialia. At the time I was a big Lewis Hamilton fan (Still am) and my customer knew this. One day in the mail I got this cardboard tube and inside was print # 861 of 1200 signed by the artist and Lewis Hamilton. My customer had obtained this print from one of the team members from McLaren.
At the time, the team member told my customer that only people working at McLaren could get this limited print. I search on line and only found one on EBAY listed for 100lbs in the UK. One other I found was listed for $249lbs, also in the UK.
The name of the print is called "North American Dream" and is a tribute to Hamilton's win in Canada in 2007.
To be honest I never had room to mount it so it has been rolled up in the cardboard tube since early 2008. I just happened to come across it while moving some stuff around in my modeling room. It doesn't come close to matching the MARIO theme of my modeling room so I thought I would offer it to someone here that might appreciate it more.
Below is what the print looks like taken off the artists web site. I couldn't get a picture of mine to stay unrolled to get a picture of it. Plus I didn't want to chance damaging it.
It is 100% mint with no tears or creases and it printed on a heavy paper.
Like I said. # 861 of 1200 only and sold out on the artist web site. (Artist is Andrew Kitson)
First $100 dollars takes it and I will take care of the shipping if in the USA. I will work something out with you if outside the states.
I hate for it to sit it in the corner of my room again for another four or more years so let me know if you are interested.
