Thanks, Duane! A odd job to say the least.
I wonder if it was transformed into a super mod and they left it that way?? I understand a lot of roadsters got chopped up and turned into Super Mods.

This 1963 is the last Kurtis Indy Car built by Frank Kurtis. It is a KK500-L . It was built with the cage as you see in the pictures for Junior Johnson to drive, but he decided that the Indy was not for him. Colby Scroggins a west coast CRA veteran tried to qualify , but missed the show. the car was the American Rubber & Plastics Special.
