This is a scratchbuilt model slot car of the Stebro Mk IV, an obscure F1 car that ran in the 1963 US GP at Watkins Glen. Body made from styrene, parts of an old slot car body, electrical conduit pipe, nylon Glue bomb and it ain't even done Attaching windscreen Ready for assembly Almost there... Off to the races

Excellent work! You've captured the shape of the restored car perfectly. You even have Peter Broeker's grimace on the figure You know I have a soft spot for these cars.

Before taking the photos, I thought about dumping some motor oil on the track to simulate the Stebro's fouling of the '63 US GP practice session, but Broeker's pained expression is enough realism for one day.
