I've been posting here for almost 2 years now, and had never posted my own model, til now. I'll be the first to admit that I am very rusty when it comes to model building, painting to be honest I find kind of daunting. I had not built a plastic model kit since 1994 when this car was originally released by Tamiya. Yellow color is Tamiya TS-16 Chassis was painted in Tamiya matte black Rims are painted using a metallic/chrome Krylon paint I picked up at Micheal's craft store. The Goodyear tire logo's disintegrated as I was trying to apply them to the tire, to old I guess, I have some other tire decals I need to hunt down and try so i will give that another shot. I did learn a lot building this model, now I need to decide what I am going to build next from the remaining t93 Lola's I have on hand cheers Gav

Nice job, it's hard to beat a Pennzoil livery.

Looks great. I second what Calvin said about the tire decals. If you have a airbrush, try Alclad paint for the chrome look. Take Care Craig

That is beautiful Gavin!!! That 1993 Pennzoil was the sleekest and cleanest Pennzoil car ever to me, love it. Here is Teo at Michigan. Man I love those Lolas!

Great build, Gavin! Warning! Shameless self-promotion follows: The decals came from GWS Custom Decals. Come visit my website at gwsdecals.com
