Bob Clindinst is corrrect......AGAIN!!!!! For years Bob has said that the color of Vukovich's 54 Winner was a light tanish-gray, not white or gray. This color photo I found is correct and thus, backing up the knowledge of Mr. Clindinst yet again. I have never doubted Bob, this only confirms what I have always known. Best to you! Russ

Great info. Nice looking in this unusual color. I've been debating whether to do the '53 or 54 version of the Jorgensen kit. This pretty much makes the decision easy. Sandy

I am hoping to soon pick up two of Bill's kits to do both winners. Of course I will also have to get Bob C's drawings and color confirmations for both years, ;D

No Mongo...Sheriff Bart has no match yet for the 1954 car, but I'm looking and will let you know when I do! According to Master Clidinst, it's a light tanish-gray. We may have to mix it.
Best to you
Russ

Best to you Russ Thanks, Russ. That is doable! Maybe with the new Duplicolor Paint Shop line of lacquers. I REALLY like to use lacquer at all times. ;D Mongo
