I was wondering about this also. Are you wanting to buy cars for Gary at Chapperalls, or are you wanting cars to give to Gary for custom work. What Chapperalls are you talking about? Because if your in contact with Gary it would be great to get a car from him myself, after three years waiting.

You should open a dispute. You'll get your money back.

You can only open a dispute for 45 days past your payment. It took him longer to do the car than 45 days. Plus at first he kept in great contact. Last that I heard my car was almost done and just waiting for some secondary sponsor decals. (that was over 2 years ago) Plus opening a dispute is not and never should be the case. You take someones money for a custom job. You should honor the order. He needs to come clean and fill all back orders. He is still producing newer cars than what people have ordered. I have tried to contact him via E-mail but no response. Right now I don't care what car he would send me I just would like to have a car and not be out $350.

I agree completely. Why has no one pursued legal action? You have to have email communication discussing payment, right?

If the seller used the Internet to do this business and you were defrauded, the seller has committed mail fraud. Contact your local post office and ask to file a criminal complaint.
