Does anyone have a picture of the car Foyt ran in the 500 in 1987. I think he crashed the primary so they painted a different version for him for the race. I've only seen a picture of a model build but would like to see actual car. Thanks Attachments:

That pic is of his qualifying car. He wrecked in practice and then had to race in a backup. Lance used to sell the decals. I'm not sure if he has any more. Nic

Its not a backup car ,its the same one he wrecked. with the short amount of time to repaint it was change to speed up to process of getting the car ready for the race.

I did the graphic design for this car but because of timing the design was simplified. The black was to have gone from the fromt to just past the cockpit and then was to be "strobed" black/orange towards the rear similar to Steve Chassis's ride in 1988 (which I also designed)
