Every year our local model car club has a white elephant gift exchange. Last year I was the lucky recipient of a 1968 Eagle, when I opened the box I was a bit dismayed...but never one to back away from a challenge I created my fantasy F5000 racer. It was a real glue bomb and needed to be stripped. You can see what I started with. It is the Bianco Pacaderm Spl. (you're smart bunch, you'll figure it out). Engine is from the Monogram sprint car with reversed headers. Scratchbuilt shocks and wing. Decals were made on the my ALPS.

Haha that's a funny story. That is one model you can take to every show and contest in the world without fear of seeing another one - lol
Nice work!

Great job on a glue bomb. I've been working on a Penske/Donohue USAC Eagle. I used the sprint car engine too. My story is this is a Frakenstien Eagle with scrounged parts from at least 4 different kits so far.
