Several Indy sources are saying that Penske is courting Ryan Hunter Ray to replace Briscoe. This allegedly has happened after attempts to get Pagenaud failed due to his Honda ties. If RHR stayed at Andretti would he be the first to openly reject a Penske seat? Seems like their is more going on at Fontana other than an exciting championship.

RHR would make for a pretty awesome trio in this lifetime Penske fan's mind.

Wow, could you imagine RHR, Power, and Helio all on Roger's payroll??? That would be awesome...

I have mixed feelings on super teams. However, if the Captain signs RHR it certainly would show Penske's commitment to the series. Not to imply any lack of commitment on Roger's part, but I think getting one more top flight driver might show he feels the series is going in the right direction.

Just saw RHR signed a multiyear deal with Andretti. I bet The Captain doesn't hear no very often.

personally I think that's kind of cool. to say 'no' to the Captain must be a real slap in the face for him. funny, never cared much for Michael as a driver but I like him as a team owner. go figure....

As much as I would have loved having RHR at Penske, you have to admire the guy's loyalty. Andretti gave him a shot and Ryan payed him back.

Maybe RHR is thinking about Penske in terms of "Where were you when I needed you?"
