Sounds shaky with Penske. Sponsorship not firmed up so he's been told it is okay to talk to other teams. Would Penske stay with 3 cars??

If he can find someone that can bring money, sure, why not?

Actually, his management group (which I believe is headed by Wayne Taylor) admitted to shopping him around as early as July.

Was never much of a RB fan but was impressed in his 2009 championship run. However, these last few years haven't been up to par so this isn't that surprising. Would be fun if the Capt put SeaBass, Wilson, or another guy that could give the TCGR guys fits!

Being a Rahal fan going back to Bobby's days in Atlantics, I'd love to see Graham go with RP and give The Chipster all he can handle.

Briscoe lost his ride on the last restart at Baltimore. He was asleep at the switch and The Captain does not like to be embarassed. He's a nice guy but...

Seems Briscoe may join the Kevin Cogan and Paul Tracy honor roll at Penske Racing?

Love to see one of our Americans in a Penske seat.

...not to mention Bobby Allison back in the 70's. just seemed that the 'best' equipment went to Donohue, Unser, Mears, etc.
there was always that 'other guy' on the team that while it looked good on paper, just never performed up to par.
IMO, Briscoe screwed the pooch on that restart, not only costing him a victory but allowed Hunter-Reay to close in on Power for the Championship. NOT a good race for Briscoe.
but on a positive note, he DOES have a hot wife!

I can't be too optimistic about any choice Penske might make if Briscoe is out given his choice of Logano over Sam for the #22. I know we are not supposed to follow that but I, at least, keep up with the guys who have open wheel backgrounds. You notice that some of the young USAC open wheel guys are getting Cup rides but not in Indy Car. Oh, I forgot. You can only drive an Indy Car if you have rear engine experience. Tell that to Stewart and step back.
