I wonder why Boesel switched from that epic Ribbon helmet he had in the 80's and 90's. The one he used from the end of 1996-to-retirement was not nearly as cool....

1997 Portland was an epic finish ;D Leader running slow on a drying track suffering from running deteriorating rain tires that are falling apart from overheating from lack of puddles being pursued by multiple hungry drivers with slick tires that are lightening fast but have to make the distance lost in pitting while still being ultra precise because offline is still too wet for having no tread. Race ended perfectly - three wide for the win!! Brahma car ending up third.
