Track conditions are making it interesting but I'm stumped on why they didn't clean it before the start!?!?
Helio's going to need some strategy - with HCN & RHR having early problems, WP needs to make hay!!
LOL about to post this & saw Helio in the pits ;-)

I only saw part of the race, due to DVR error ( my fault), but I have a question for everyone. Does anyone think that the red and black tire deal, and push to pass has made the racing better? I don't think so, but I am sometimes just a grumpy, old man according to my wife and kids. Take Care Craig

I like that there is strategy and choices - giving strategy some more dimension. I especially like option tires when a car doesn't work with one of the tire compounds.
Obviously from Friday's posts, there are ppl on both sides of P2P.
I also think option tires on the occasional build really stand out when displayed with other cars ;D

grumpy old man here and I for one don't want to see 'strategy'. I WANT TO SEE RACING! while IndyCar has been somewhat interesting, its still just spec racing in my mind. one chassis, 3 choices for engines (if you can call the Lotus an engine) and one tire manufacturer. woo hoo.......open wheel racing has become nothing more than a gokart series for millionaires. I would love to go to Indy next year and be excited to see who brought what to the party. now you know what everyone has.....just different paint schemes or should I say 'wrap' schemes? its 'ok' but not the way it used to be. more safe, yes. but more boring, absolutely.
