Aside from Fred Cady's decals and new proper sized tires, these are all build straight out of the box....All are SOB's! Best to you Russ

Hey Russ, where did you get the correct tires? I agree with Jordan, my SOB's should look so good.

Hello There!
The wheels are the old kit wheels stripped of their nasty "chrome" plating that AMT used to use....They were painted using the "Metal Master" magnesium which is a truer color than cheap chrome. The tires on the Lotus made for me by Mike Quarterman...they were one time shots though. The Watson are kit tires. Lance Sellers makes an accurate set of tires for his Watson conversions...He's a member of the forum, contact him and he'll sell you a set.
Best to you
Russ

Another option is Replica and Minatures Set T-25. These are 1963 Indy Firestones. Norm Veber will be happy to sell you a set for $7.50. It has two front and two rear tires.

Send a note or e-mail to Norm. He usually has a few items that aren't shown. If he has them, he'll be happy to sell them to you.
Best to you

Just wanted to let you know that these are in Norm's current price list. I bought a pair of these at the Toledo NNL. I was able to purchase a pair of set T-12's from Norm as well. These are not listed in the current price list but when I called him he said it was no problem to make a couple of sets for me. I just had to be patient and wait a couple of weeks before they came. Norm told that masters for set T-25 were made from the tires that came with the original issue of the Watson Roadster kit. These tires are much better than those in the 3 in 1 kit. I'm sure you will be able to get these. Tim

Hey there Ancient Modeler!
Here's what's in the list that Norm sent me that maybe of interest -
First the T-12's are not in the list but you can get them on request. They are a complete set of 1964 Indy Firestone Tires
T-25 is a complete set of 1963 Indy Firestone Tires
T-40 is a complete set of 1968 Goodyear Bluestreak Tires for the "68 Olsonite and Rislone Eagles or any other 68 Indy car on Goodyear tires.
T-46 is a complete set of 1968 Firestone tires for the Turbine Car.
RM-76 is an Offy conversion for the MPC Olsonite Eagle.
I have all of the above and they are all very nice and very useful to the Indy Car Modeler.
Try them you'll like them!
;D
