My 1/25 projects have all sort of stalled out, but this was a quick, fun little break. I acquired a vintage AFX slot car track this summer along with some old cars, and while reading up on things discovered Gary Fast and his resin FastBodies Indy cars. I ordered a couple of his '84 Marches, and this is the first result. Gary's bodies are designed to fit over an AFX Mega-G 1.7 inch chassis, so I ordered two of those as well. The body fit perfectly, and the rear wing is designed to be glued to the chassis at the gear box rather than molded together, which makes it all look better. The driver is also molded as a separate piece and fits in nicely. The rear wing is actually provided as a road course wing, but it is easily sanded down to look like a speedway wing. The front wings are also road wings and could be sanded, but I left them for strength, so this is sort of a hybrid. It cleaned up nicely, though I probably could have done better filling in some pinholes, of which there are very few. You can't really tell. I painted it with Testors lacquer black. Decals are from Indycals and went on great, as usual. Final coat of Future, and it's good to go. I haven't actually tested it yet, since the wife made me move my track last weekend! Soon, I hope. Here's what you get in the package: With primer on: A coat of paint: And with decals: I'm undecided which car to do next. I have decals for Mears, Foyt and Fittipaldi.

I wanna see an Emmo car built I'm actually very strongly considering it - the girls will probably like the pink! I might leave that in road course configuration.

Thanks Scott. That looks awesome. I also have those decals and was going to do it. Nice job! Can't wait to see your next subject. As far as the March, there are certain compromises to fit over the chassis, but I feel I captured the look fairly well in 64th scale. Even though this is the '83 decals on the '84 body, I love this livery. Gary Attachments:

Any scale & any media, it is the same passion driving us! Jordan Amen, brother Jordan! My main interest will continue to be the resin and plastic 1/25 stuff, but I have to say this is a very fun little diversion.
