I think this is my best 93 Lola build to date - those who were at the memorabilia show got to see it in person:

I saw this photo and ordered a set of the decals, with silver, right away. What great set of decals, Michael you did a great job on these and the build should be straight forward, Thanks Chris

beautiful, beautiful car. Nothing better than a 1993 Lola. I have a couple of 1/43rd stripped and ready and this might be one. Your's is perfect and I can't even get close to as good as you've done, but a couple questions about this car. 1. Are the #2 on the real car florescent or not? I remember them as being dayglo red in person for the 1993 Indy 500, but all of the photos look just red. 100% not sure on this. 2. Was the blue "metallic" or not for 1993? Onyx diecast etc kept the same metallic blue these cars had in 1989-1992, but I (like you apparently) also thought that the final year for Mackenzie featured standard blue paint. Thanks!!!

Looks great! Too bad Tamiya didn't do more Indycars because this Lola is by far the best plastic indycar kit ever done.

I was hoping Sato would win the 500 in those closing laps - I gotta think Tamiya would have jumped all over that.
