This is a bigger scale kit of the 1914 French Grand Prix winner, that raced at Indianapolis too. Have members of the forum build the kit, and how good is it, and are there reviews of the model? Paul Hooft ,Netherlands, Europe

Thanks for the review. Yes, it is an old kit, but the Mercedes is from 1914, and won the Classic Grand Prix de France 1914 driven by Cristian Lautenschlager, a few weeks before the Great War broke out. That is 98 years ago!, that win makes it into a very historic racing car. There was more to come at Indy..

Hi Paul, yes, this model was talked about recently. If you scroll down to "Interesting find at the hobby shop" there are some coments and an Outstanding build by ianknott.
