Yes, it is an old kit, but the Mercedes is from 1914, and won the Classic Grand Prix de France 1914 driven by Cristian Lautenschlager, a few weeks before the Great War broke out.
That is 98 years ago!, that win makes it into a very historic racing car.
There was more to come at Indy..
