Well, I got around to working on this...G. Hill car not sure which car yet.  with the car chassis a full monocoque chassisI chose to cut the body so I could make for a modular build...  this seems to work very well to have clean sides on the body...   Let's see...Monaco? Patrick |

Am I mistaken in believing the BRM 578 to be of spaceframe construction?
But I am very interested in Your diverse buildings, espescially the more exotic ones.

I think my old age snuck one in on me! Yes, of course, you're correct! It was a stressed skin space framed car. I usually don't make dumb mistakes...I'm counting on modelling to keep at bay "oldtimers" disease, as my daughter called it.
I'm glad you are interested in my cars. I build them for me and to show you guys that these cars are just as interesting to model as the current flock of ugly beasties that we call F1 today.

maybe You are a bit my senior but I am 60 this year myself.
Since 2010 when I discovered Open Wheel Modeling and got to know
Your interest in unusual F1 cars so similar to my own interest in the
history of F1 I am following Your diverse buildings with admiration.
Very ugly beasties those are but the GP of Canada was nice to watch, , I think.

Thanks Lads. Patrick I might as well add some progress photos here...   nearly done with front discs needed, as well as, numbers, knock-offs, an interior and paint the velocity stack screen. |
