Mornin everyone. Name is Dave, been building off and on for the last 30 years or so. Was doing a little research for an upcoming build and got directed to this site. Very nice place, have seen a lot of great builds. My builds cover a wide range of subjects, as I just try to have fun with the hobby. But what I have seen here has really got me into breaking open some of the Indy kits I have! Don't build real fast, as most of my build time is during down times at the firehouse.

Welcome, Dave! This is a great site for info on both the real thing and modeling ideas. Don't be shy with your questions as many of us learn from the answers!

Hi Dave, Greetings and a big welcome to the club from a fellow firefighter. Yep, I too do some of my building at the station, usually the basic assembly and save the painting and finesse stuff for at home. Where are you a hose jockey at? You can post here or PM/email me. You'll enjoy this group, they're good guys and I've learned a ton from them in the recent months. All the best, Sandy

Thanks for the warm welcome yall. Already learned quite a bit, just looking thru the posts. Got a couple of other projects to finish up, then gonna start on a Kurtis Kraft from Monogram. After finding this place, it's not looking like it will just be a box stock build!
