Just got my Lotus 72C kit in the mail. What an awesome kit! Beautiful pre-printed Firestones including the gold ring (both sides), parts trees that remind one of a Tamiya kit, and a really nice decal sheet, altho no tobacco decals. Haven't opened any of the bags yet, so can't comment on fit, but everything looks good! An insert shows the next releases, a Rob Walker 72C, a JPS 72E, a 49, 49B and a 49C! Great stuff!

I REALLY want one. But, man. The price of Japanese models today is crazy! I've got a major block about paying that much for a mass produced model. It's not like they are hand made like the cottage industry cars. I'll pay more than that for one of Lance's works of art, but plastic, I don't know. Oh, who am I fooling. I'm getting one. I'll only be PO'd about the price until I have it in my hands. MJ

IndyCals just did a blog entry on this build and I just read it and it is great. Makes you want to go to the bench! www.indycals.net/blog/?p=912Jordan

What type wiring would be recommended for the plugs? I would like to add a little detail to this kit.
