I don't know, I've thought about doing his 1993 Indy 500 car, I always liked that colorful scheme, he doesn't seem to be a very popular driver, atleast not stateside, in France that might be a different story.

I messed around with making decals for the Gregoire car a few years ago. I only got so far before going on to other things. I may re-visit it later. Stu

Stu, we may need to collaborate on this or share our logo's I have the logo's saved on my pc I would like to paint Gregoire's '93 car on a tamiya lola, even if the rear cowling wouldn't be accurate since I understand it was a '92 Lola buick.

I have a old Win 98 laptop on the way for $60 off of eBay. Hopefully I can install my old version of Illustrator and I might be able to print from my ALPS MD-5000 again. Should arrive this week sometime, I'll let you know. (this is Josh by the way). lol For those who don't know, I have made dozens of lower-quality decals for slot cars, etc (nothing that compares to IndyCals, etc) but a few years ago I updated to a 64-bit rocking desktop for iRacing/rFactor and since then, no matter what I do (original ALPS USB converter, all drivers, etc) I can not print. Even tried an older XP laptop from work, nothing. Finally just went old school and am aligning the ancient ALPS driver with an ancient laptop. "We'll see..." Again, not perfect at all - but some of my sets that I don't know if anyone else has done here... mb2501.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=id&thread=3676&page=1(all on the Scalextrix 1998-ish Dallara, I know, not accurate, we really race 'em and tear them up. I really love some though, some replicas I have never seen another model or diecast made)

Stu [img src="http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu127/sbenford/93FormulaProject.jpg" img] Amazing stuff!!! Maybe we can all work together to get this set made? What do you need to complete it, I might have it already?

Just reviving this old thread, did some quick renders of this car this morning some quick notes, car chassis in render is of a 1994 Lola Even though this car ran in the 1993 500, it was a 1992 Lola Buick link to full size 1920x1080p image i.imgur.com/EPoQr.jpgSo lets get together and confirm what we need to do to get this decal sheet made guys cheers Gav

I have only *remember* seeing the '92 body in vacuform. Not sure if Bill ever put it in resin.
Saw a 99-2000ish Gregoire car on Geocities before but that site has gone away - though I might have a copy of that guy's site on a HD but I wouldn't expect me to find that anytime soon ;D LOL

Nice work Gav. I never even knew what was on the front & rear wings on that car.
I was only doing this car at the beginning as a commission job but it got put on the back burner years ago so my interest in doing the car now have dwindled. My decals are very primative and ink jet printed so I don't believe anyone would want to go that route. Your best bet would to have Michael or someone else with an ALPS to print the sheet.
Good luck!

This was one of the most colorful cars back then. I also liked the Mark Smith Craftsman car although he did not make the race I thought the car was designed well.

Since this thread is old, I'll go ahead and hijack it ;D If a discussion grows, I'll split the two.
I always say when I get the chance that I'd love to see a PC21 in scale. It was the only car I got to see Mears race in live so I know I am biased but still I think all six drivers would appeal to different builders out there:
- Senna; 3x F1 Champ; ran his Dec '92 IndyCar test in a PC21 at Firebird (the 1/43 Minichamps issued is wrong since they used the PC22 mold they already had made for Emmo's Indy winner) - to me this one would sell any number of copies made regardless of scale because of the rare Indy/Senna connection - Emmo; 2x F1 Champ, 2x Indy Champ, CART Champ; captured two poles and all four of the PC21s wins - Mears; 4x Indy Champ, 3x CART Champ; coulda/shoulda/woulda won Surfers and was last car he ever drove - Tracy; CART Champ; got first f/t ride and won first pole in PC21 - Cheever; Indy Champ; ran first part of 1993 season in the PC21 (recently his '93 Lola used at Indy was built so why not this one, too?) - Smith; the Craftsman tools scheme was a sharp looking car that would look good on any shelf
