Are those all decals on the green 99 car!!! That must have been a B**CH for Michael to make and you to put on.

Stunning work Eric! Loves the dark grey to silver car!
Doing one of these with the paint, and all the mods to get them correct is tough enough. They all look identical and my hats off to you. Doing multiple cars is really a pain I know but you make them look easy. I know better though!
Excellent work!

Rusty, yes they are decals on the green 99 car. Thanks to Michaels great work they were not as hard to put on as one might think..but they were not easy either...lol Thanks Stu for the kind words. These were the first cars I have ever used an air brush on and was really happy with the way it came out. I used 4 different colors to get the fade correct. If you look closely you will see that the rear wing end plates and the rear wing mainplane have the same fade as the the main body. I really like the reverse fade of the dot matrix design on the 2011 car too.

Absolutely stunning! Makes me tired to think of all the work involved. Thanks for sharing and congratulations on what must be considered a very successful project.

Nice Job! Any production line shots to share? I just got my first arrival of Indycals. Stumped in figuring out how to paint the V-power Shell in 1/24. This is my first model project in a looong time! Are the decals for sale or purely commisioned?

Absolutely stunning work my friend. Take it from me, I know the many hours involved with large commissions. Yes airbrushing is the only way to achieve your results. Cleaning the gun, buying all the thinner & mixing paint is a pain I know, but with these results it's the only way to go. Plus airbrushing produces less fumes & over spray. Great work!

Michael, I got another one in me. I am still traveling back from LA. I will contact you when I get back. Getting ready to head out for breakfast with Buddy and Bob Lazier this morning. As for the decals once Indycals is back from his vacation they will most likley become avaliable. Will post some WIP shots over the next few days.

What a breakfast this morning. Not only was it my wife, myself, Bubby and Bob Lazier at breakfast but Kara joined us and a surprise guest alos... and the surprise guest was none other than Chip Ganassi and one of Chip's friends. They flew in just for the day to go sking with the Lazier's They offered for me to come along but I have never skied and did not want to slow them down...Spent the day horse back riding in the mountians and exploring Vail..What a beautiful place as is the Tivoli Lodge that the Lazier's own. Best roadtrip ever!!!!
