I have not been a fan of the new cars, or the emphasis on road course and street racing, and while I still think that street racing sucks, I thought that yesterdays race was very entertaining. I still dislike the tire rules, and I don't like races that are won or lost in the pits, the racing was very good. I think the current rules regarding blocking have made for a much better show. It was very interesting to see poorly Dario ran compared to Dixon, and how well a Lotus can run with the right driver. The DW12 is growing on me. A note to our resin casters, the new car will be around for a long time, and as heavy as the suspension looks, it would not require much in the way of metal, if at all. I think that a 1/25 kit would be a big seller for both you and Michael. Take Care Craig

When the DW-12 model kit comes out I will personally sponsor a CONTEST and the theme will be converting the DW12 to a Modern F5000 or CAN AM Car !!!!!!!!!!! I think that would be EXCELLENT and bring out the creativeness in a lot of Builders.. Think About it I am sure many will agree!!! So Bring Em On!! Chris

I wouldn't eat crow yet......Long Beach is next For me passing or not, I'll still watch. winning in the pits, I'll still watch. winning on fuel strategy, I'll still watch. Everyone has the same rules, its just part of the game IMO. That's why I like motorsports so much! So many factors can play in.

It's Indycar and I'll probably always watch. It want to think it is getting better. I will most likely build a model when someone makes one.

I was at Barber yesterday and seeing the cars in person Queen's "Fat Bottom Girls" comes to mind. These cars are Butt ugly and having designed many Indy car paint schemes, I think it is difficult to get a scheme that makes these cars look good.

I thought it was interesting durring the race yesterday when they were talking about how they are working on push to pass. I thought that the race was one of the better RC races in a long time and on a tough track with few passing areas, there was plenty of passing maybe they should scrap P2P i kinda always felt it was kinda gimickey aneyway.

I always thought that P2P was kind of a joke because it was more like a P2B (block)
I think having a good fashion boost knob would be better....But what do I know.

I will not be disappointed in the next 2 races, because I fully expect that both of them will stink. If either of them is worth watching I will be pleasantly suprised. All I'm saying is that the Alabama race was the best Indycar road race I have seen in a long time. I was never a big fan of the last generation needle nose car, and let's face it, we have not had a good looking, open wheel car in quite some time. It would be hard to find anyone who likes the looks of the new F1 cars. Like it or not, the DW12 is what we have for the next few years, so we may as well get used to it. I also hope that they get over the notion that we need to bring back the P2P or P2B. It might not be a big seller for one of the big plastic outfits, but for someone like Lance or Calvin, the new car would be very worthwhile IMO. Calvin, my idea for overtake assist is a NO bottle in each car. Use it whenever you want, but when it's gone, it's gone. We might just see, a blown engine or two. What a concept. Take Care Craig
