Can I attend an open test @ Texas on May 7th?

It looks like an open test is planned for May 7th @ Texas. Can just anyone go to these? Do they usually have the pits open for this?

Sonoma was open, but that was done by the track, not Indycar. I would check with the track. I was about to call Infineon about the test day so I went on their website and they had announced it was open.

I also just spent the $34.95 for the Indycar Champion membership which is supposed to give you some VIP access to some things. If nothing else, it probably worth it for the cap and the RACER Magazine subscription.
