I have been on this very nice board a few times and decided to finally join. I build mainly 1/43rd, 1/24th and 1/12th F1 kits along with sportscars in the same scales. I have a small company called Scale Designs that still makes decals. Never did a F1 kit but have done many Lemans cars. Another old friend, welcome aboard. I'm sure most everyone knows you and if not Tom is an EXCELLENT modeler and sells some GREAT stuff!

Welcome Tom, even though it's called Open Wheel Racing Modeling there are lots of sports car lovers here too. Me included.

Thank you all. I have alot of F1 projects going, but the Expo has slowed me down since I had to do a few Carrera Panamericana models for the show. Next year we might make F1 the special theme for Ferrari Expo. The fact that Shunko is doing some very nice decals for the old Hasegawa and Wave 1/24th F1 kits will help push me to finish a few more plastic kits.
Tom Tanner/Scale Designs/Ferrari Expo 2012-Chicago March 17th 2012-Carrera Panamericana model contest theme. F1 cars are still most welcome along with all sportscars, Indy, European racing ect. Even "vintage stockcar" models.
