Hi ya Bill!!!
No, you're not seeing things! 1964 started the tire wars between Goodyear and Firestone. Foyt was not happy with Firestone and wanted a different tire for the Speedway and Firestone wouldn't give it to him. So he practiced all month with Goodyear Stock Car tires and found them to be lacking what he wanted also. So at the last minute, Foyt went with the Firestone tires and did have a tie change through the whole race, but since he was committed to Goodyear, Foyt wore a Goodyear Drivers suit during the race. So, I'm not surprise there is a photo with both brands on the car. By the way...Foyt was the first one to win the 500 on Goodyear tires in 1967.
Best to you
Russ
